West Jakarta Sudinhub Intensively Checks Public Transports From Outside Jakarta

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) intensifies inspection on passengers from outside Jakarta who use public transport to Jakarta. Today, a travel car was stopped for dropping off passengers outside Kalideres Terminal. All passengers and crews inside that travel car were directed immediately to the terminal to take antigen test.

West Jakarta Sudinhub Operation Section Head, Muhammad Wildan Anwar mentioned, his side had coordinated with Kalideres Terminal management to provide health service post and health workers to hold antigen tests.

"Earlier, travel car with Bumiayu-Jakarta route was caught dropping off passengers at Cengkareng intersection, Jl. Daan Mogot. Immediately, we checked vehicle documents, vehicle worthiness, then we directed the passengers and crews to enter Kalideres terminal to take antigen test. In total, there were 10 passengers who take antigen tests," he explained, Friday (5/21).

After carrying out antigen test, all test results showed non-reactive for COVID-19 thus they were allowed to continue their journey.

His side continued to intensify inspection on public transport passengers, including AKAP buses and travel cars, especially that drop off passengers outside the terminal.

"We urge AKAP bus and travel car crews to pick up and drop off passengers at terminal or designated places which are allowed to drop off passengers for the sake of everyone's health," he said.
